Learning Through Experience
In our multi-year classroom, children learn from - and with - one another. Multi-age learning fosters collaboration, empathy and leadership as students explore new ideas at their own pace. Each child’s natural strengths and interests are the starting point for learning, with teachers guiding them toward independence, problem-solving and creative expression.
Daily child-centered routines blend structure with play. Each day begins with a morning meeting that focuses on building social skills followed by personalized small-group early literacy and foundational numeracy lessons that encourage movement and sensory engagement. The afternoon includes daily physical education experiences and the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC); thematic units that provide engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences to capture children’s natural curiosity.
