Annual Giving
At the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning (BCCL), we believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of success. But delivering this level of personalised education requires resources beyond tuition alone. Annual Giving helps bridge that gap and ensures BCCL remains accessible, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our learners.
What Annual Giving Supports

BCCL Scholar Fund (Bursaries)
Your gift provides essential financial aid for families who could not otherwise afford a BCCL education. Nearly 1 in 5 children learns differently, and at BCCL, one in three families relies on financial assistance to access the education their child needs. The majority of bursary recipients transfer from government schools, often after struggling in traditional classroom settings. This fund ensures access, equity, and opportunity for students who need it most.

BCCL Fund (Operational Support)
Tuition alone does not cover the true cost of a BCCL education. Annual Giving sustains:
● Small class sizes
● Specialised, experienced teachers
● Hands-on, inquiry-based learning
● Social-emotional and academic supports
These elements are foundational to student success — and to what makes BCCL exceptional.

BCCL Gym & Student Centre
Annual Giving also supports the development of BCCL’s Occupational Therapy-focused Gym and Holistic Student Centre — a purpose-built space designed for sensory regulation, movement, connection, and self-confidence.
This centre will serve as a hub for physical activity, therapy, lunch, and community gatherings, helping students develop the regulation and resilience they need to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Local donations can be made via bank transfer to the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning Foundation at Clarien Bank, Account 6000 191 310.

THE BCCL FOUNDATION
Impactful Giving, Positive Outcomes
As a registered charity, the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning Foundation (BCCLF) continuously seeks donor funding to offer tuition bursaries for families, and to contribute to BCCL’s operational expenses.
Due to students’ needs and BCCL’s commitment to providing low student-to-teacher ratios, the number of staff required is much higher than traditional schools.
Our school’s growth continues to follow a similar trend, with lower-income families enrolling children who previously attended public school and are unaccustomed to paying school tuition.
In the 2024-25 school year, 31% of our enrollment was from single-income households. The rising cost of food, housing and utilities has impacted these families more than households with multiple incomes. They do not have safety nets to rely on if a family member experience reduced work hours or a job loss.
Run by volunteers and a board of trustees, BCCLF’s goal is to partner with other like-minded organizations to ensure that children’s needs are met, and that they can become productive members of our community. For the 2024-25 school year, 21 families received tuition bursaries. Given the state of the economy and the lack of alternative educational options on the island, donor funding is crucial now more than ever.
