Welcome to the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning!

BCCL was founded in 2015 on a simple belief: every child deserves a learning environment where they feel understood, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. More than a decade later, it is a privilege to lead that vision as Head of School and to help shape the next chapter of BCCL.

Every student who walks through our doors has a unique way of learning. That is why we invest the time to understand each student as an individual and create a personalized learning experience that builds on their strengths, supports their needs and helps them develop the confidence to succeed, both in school and beyond.

Our approach combines evidence-based teaching practices with a strong focus on social-emotional learning because we know that children learn best when they feel safe, connected and supported. We celebrate progress in all its forms, helping students rediscover a love of learning while building the social-emotional skills they need for future success.

What makes BCCL truly special is our community. Our students, families, staff and supporters each play an important role in creating a school culture built on empathy, collaboration and growth. Together, we celebrate each child's unique journey and work in partnership to ensure they have the tools, opportunities and supports they need to thrive.

As a Co-founder, it has been my privilege to be part of BCCL's growth from day one. Having worked alongside our students, families and dedicated staff since the school's inception, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible potential that emerges when children receive the right support in a nurturing environment. Their achievements continue to inspire me every day.

About Lindsey:

Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education from Holy Family University and a Master of Arts with Distinction in Educational Leadership from Coventry University.

Over the past 18 years, Lindsey has dedicated her career to supporting children with learning differences, first as a special education teacher in the United States and later in Bermuda as a teacher, educational therapist and school leader. In 2015, she co-founded BCCL. Lindsey has also created and provided professional development workshops in the U.S., Canada and Bermuda.

Lindsey currently serves on the National Educator's Institute (NEI) as the representative for private schools and is on the Social-Emotional-Cultural-Competency tier. She also serves on the Bermuda Educators Council’s Professional Learning Committee.
